Yamai Suteki

Yamai Suteki brings together the Japanese hook manufacturer Yamai and its Suteki brand. The company was founded in 1872 by Ikutarou Dohi in Katō, Hyōgo Prefecture, in the heart of Banshū, a region known in Japan for its hooks. It took the name Yamai in 1998.

For lure fishing, the brand makes assist hooks for jigging, such as the Twin Assist Hikari, the Spider Assist, the Jigger Men Assist and the Micro Jigging Assist, as well as single hooks for hard lures, including the Crafter's series. It also offers everything you need to make your own assists: split rings, solid rings, PE Assist Line braid and heat-shrink tubing. Anglers use these to replace or upgrade the original hooks on their jigs, poppers and stickbaits.
