Tsuriken

Tsuriken is a Japanese fishing tackle manufacturer based in Onga, Fukuoka Prefecture. The company was founded in Kitakyushu in 1980 and took the name Tsuriken in 1986. It initially established itself as a float manufacturer, specialising in floats for rock fishing at sea, calibrated to within a hundredth of a gram according to the brand.

Tsuriken also produces the Egista range of squid jigs. The Egista BTB and Egista TR, in sizes 3.0 and 3.5, are designed for standard eging, with Shallow versions for fishing in shallow water. The Egista Light, in sizes 1.5 to 2.2, are designed for smaller squid. They can be fished from the shore or from a boat.
