The Rippler is the result of design ideas from Uli Beyer. The goal was to combine a large silhouette with reduced weight and optimum swimming actions. The carefully sculpted ribs posed a major challenge in the moulding process, explaining why a lure of this kind has not existed until now.

The Baby Riplers are smaller versions of this lure family. They are particularly well-suited to jig fishing. The 12 cm model mainly targets perch, pike-perch and pike.

With the upper end of the tail, the lure adopts a slow-motion action, ideal for large predators and winter fishing, where too much movement can be counter-productive.

Without the upper end of the tail, the lure gains in agility and more noticeable vibrations. This action is recommended in the majority of situations, especially during warmer periods. The tip can be easily removed by hand.
